Health, Safety & Environment Commitment 
All YMS staff are committed to:
· Pursue the goal of zero harm to people and assets
· Protect the environment
· Use materials and energy efficiently to provide our products and services
· Develop energy resources, products and services consistent with these aims

· Play a leading role in promoting best practice in our industries

Health, Safety and Environment Policy Objectives 
Yassine Marine Services has established the following objectives in meeting these policies:
· HSE is independent, with at least an equal status of other business objectives The health and safety of YMS employees, the public and  environmental conservation are priority considerations in the planning and execution of all work activities undertaken by Yassine Marine Services
· Proactive implementation approach to identify, eliminate, or minimize incident and environmental exposures to as low as reasonably practicable,
  taking into account technical, practical, social, economic, and public-policy considerations
· To ensure employees are medically fit  by providing health program and medical screening, adequate supervision and awareness,
· To ensure competence training and skill development programs including effective supervision
· Keep abreast of developing technologies and statutory requirements in preventing injuries and conserving the environment
· Health, Safety and Environment is a line management responsibility and that all levels of management are held accountable
· Recognition of HSE achievement by employees by Senior Management
YMS HSE Rules
The HSE Rules aim to provide clarity on our minimum expectation of individual HSE responsibilities
of YMS staff irrespective of their position. In doing so we can promote a just and fair working culture.
· I will intervene when I see unsafe behavior (I have a Duty to Stop the work)
· I will observe and follow all HSE related signs, policies and instructions
· I will report all unsafe acts and situations to the relevant supervisor
· I will ensure all work instructions are understood before starting an activity
· I will comply with site Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirement
· I will adhere to all requirements of the Permit To Work (PTW) system
· I will use the right tools for the right job and use them correctly
· I will keep workplaces (both office and work site) clean, tidy and free of obstruction
· I will hold the handrail on staircases
. I will adhere to traffic rules when driving
· I will use a seat belt, and make sure all other car occupants use seat belts at all times
